Hi there I wanted us to create a website that deals with delivery services from local restaurants to local consumers. The website is called Localeats express.( And of course its https btw). This is how the platform should be: • Once the website is opened user logs in or signs up and chooses his/her role *Buyer(customer) *seller(restaurant owner) *Driver • On choosing the role they are redirected to their specific interface. a) For buyers interface we have the following. 1. Beautiful homepage with logo, navigation bar with links; home, restaurants, account for logging out and changing interface (as drop down menu), big premium button, promotional banners and corousels, our services presented in form of boxes with description and the footer with links. 2. When ordering food this is how the user will go about it. The user clicks the restaurant link in the navigation bar ad is taken to the restaurant page where he sees all the available and open restaurants with two buttons; view more and order now. On clicking the view more button the user sees a pop up of the restaurant more information. On clicking the order now button a pop up menu is displayed of the respective restaurants menu-items. Where the user can search for dishes. Menu is supposed to have the image of the dish, price of the dish, quantity needed and a add to cart button in form of the add to cart icon. Once the user is done with selecting his dish at the top there is a proceed to checkout button where on clicking it it displays the checkout form as a pop up with the summary of the order, name, address, payment method(M-Pesa, cash on delivery) and a delivery fee of ksh.60 and a place order button. 3. Once the place order button is clicked the restaurant receives a notification of the order details, name of user, address, payment method;if its cash on delivery the restaurant prints a receipts. And then prepares the order while updating the user on the status of the order. 4. Once done the restaurant assigns a available driver the order so as to deliver. The driver delivers and ascertains that the payment has been made. The user can confirm if his/her order has been made or not made via a button which alerts the restaurant. User can move forward to write a review of service to the email localeatshelp@gmail.com . b) For sellers interface (owner of restaurants) it should be as follows. 1. Sign in(for existing owners) and signing up 2. if the owner is creating an account for the first time he should add all the specific details of the restaurant which are going to be displayed on the restaurant page; Name,image,closing and opening hours emails and the like you will suggest other details for him to fill(required) 3. Here owners can: *add and remove menus i. Add and remove menus ii. View existing/pending orders made iii. History of order made iv. They can manage inventory v. They can view their analysis in terms of performance, order made and sales giving him/her results as good, fair and excellent. The analysis should display total of daily orders, weekly and monthly. vi. He can view ratings made by each customer. vii. Owners can update his/her profile(not public) viii. Sign out and delete account button. 4. Drivers interface has the following; i. Sign in or sign up forms ii. If drivers is signing up he/she should input all the details for his motor, phone number, National id and the like (you will input more ideas) iii. View total deliveries assigned to him daily, weekly and monthly. iv. Total commission earned v. Analysis in form of graph of his performance vi. Rating vii. Sign out button and delete accout button. So that is how the platform should be. This is a lot to ask but I know you are up tho the task. We can use HTML, responsive beautiful and elegant eye catching CSS, javascript for functionality, express, MySQL and for authentication recommend good ones. Lets make this dream alive and kicking.
